Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about working with Fularity — including ballpark costs, timelines, and how to get started.

How much does a hardware prototype cost?

It depends on complexity, features, and unit count. As a rough guide: a feasibility review typically starts around $199 USD; a basic working prototype often falls in the $4,000–$8,000 range; a full MVP build is commonly $15,000–$40,000+. We quote precisely after reviewing your brief — contact us to discuss your project.

What is included in a Feasibility Report?

Technical feasibility analysis, feature breakdown, recommended tech route, BOM cost estimate, timeline and budget range, risk assessment, and a go/no-go recommendation — delivered in 3–5 business days after we align on scope and payment.

How do I pay?

We invoice in USD. Payment is by international wire transfer to our company USD account per contract milestones (typically staged across project phases). After you submit a brief, we will send payment instructions and a project reference for your transfer.

Do I keep my intellectual property?

Yes. Your idea and project-specific deliverables remain yours. We sign confidentiality agreements and transfer project IP as defined in your contract.

How long does a prototype take?

Feasibility reviews: 3–5 days. Basic prototypes: often 3–6 weeks. MVP builds: typically 8–16 weeks. Timeline depends on scope, iteration rounds, and how quickly requirements are confirmed.

Where are you based?

We execute hardware development in Shenzhen with global project management. You get Shenzhen speed and cost efficiency with clear English communication and milestone-based delivery.

What types of products do you build?

Smart consumer devices, IoT gadgets, interactive training hardware, desktop companions, connected sensors, and crowdfunding-ready MVPs — anything with electronics, firmware, and physical structure.

Can you help with Kickstarter or manufacturing?

Yes. Many clients come to us for demo units and MVP builds before crowdfunding or seed fundraising. Pilot runs, DFM, tooling, and mass production can be scoped as a follow-on engagement after prototype delivery.

How do I get started?

Contact us with a short project summary, or create a portal account and submit a project brief. We will review your project, confirm scope by email, and send a custom quote — no online checkout required.

What is milestone-based delivery?

Work is split into agreed phases — for example contract signing, prototype delivery, and final acceptance — with payment tied to each milestone. This keeps both sides aligned and reduces risk compared to paying everything upfront.
